Green Impact Technologies (GIT) is looking for 4 Digital Skills Trainers- Interns preferably from Lilongwe, Dedza, Ntcheu, and Balaka to assist the company in training youths in the five districts of Malawi.
The company digital trainer’s responsibilities include facilitating trainings among youths in digital skills, mentoring and assist in preparing training materials. He /She will be working under minimum supervision with ability to provide routine progress reports of the project.
To be successful as a company digital trainer- Intern, you should ensure that all digital skills duties are carried out in a timely manner. Ultimately, a top-performing digital trainer-intern should be able to ensure that trainings are conducted efficiently and timely in all the targeted districts.
The project goals being achieved through a specified period of time among youths in rural areas.
Digital Skills Trainers-4 (Interns) Responsibilities:
• Maintain digital skills training material including training guides, assessments, and observations.
• Facilitate high quality and engaging sessions to participants which positively develops their self-confidence and builds digital skills.
• Analyzing and conducting necessary installations of ICT equipment for the digital trainings
• Assist in coordination during recruitment and training for the digital skills among youths
• Developing routine technical progress reports
• Support in mentoring youths during the course of the project
• Prepare educational material such as module summaries, videos etc.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time by the digital trainer coordinator
Qualification and skills Requirements:
• Minimum of a diploma in computer science, business information systems, information technology or related. Those with bachelor’s degree will have an added advantage.
• No work experience required.
• Good analytical and reasoning skills
• Ability to communicate
• Team working capabilities
