Word Alive Ministries International, a growing Church that is involved in holistically
proclaiming the Gospel, through thematic commissions of Assemblies and Missions, Relief
and Development and Christian Education, invites applications from suitably qualified,
experienced persons and with passion and a sense of calling to work within the church to
fill the following vacant positions:

Title of post :  Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer
Grade:  MM 3
Location:  Rumphi

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development studies or any related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years work experience in relevant field.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and operating project monitoring, evaluation,
  accountability and learning systems from project initiation to closeout stages.
• Experience in performance measurement, including indicator selection, target setting,
  reporting, database management, and developing M&E and performance monitoring plans.
  Ability to make frequent field visits to project sites and work in hardship environment
• Proven high level of computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Access, SSPS and Power Point) and data management.
• Proven data analysis and report writing skills.
• Ability to transfer knowledge to diverse audiences through training, mentoring, and other formal and non-formal methods.
• Experience in working with Faith Based Organisations an added advantage.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Tumbuka.
• Proven record of integrity and accountability.
• Self-starter and team player.

Duties

• Work with the program team to develop M&E plans, data collection and reporting tools,
  filing system and performance indicators tracking.
• Ensure that all programmes and projects adhere to multi-annual plans and donor requirements;
• Establish etfective knowledge management mechanisms including documentation of baselines and outcomes/impacts;
• Take charge of collating and synthesizing information, updating the monitoring matrix and other monitoring tools in place for both, operational and program development.

Remuneration
Remuneration in line with the Church’s Salary Structure will be offered to the successful
candidate.
