Malawi Police Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited is a member owned Financial Cooperative in Malawi that provides savings and credit services to members of the Malawi Police Service and Civil Servants.
The SACCO was established in 2014 with the aim of promoting financial inclusion and improving the economic well-being of its members. The SACCO offers a range of financial products and services, including savings accounts, fixed deposits and loans. The SACCO is Fully Licensed and regulated by the Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM).
The SACCO is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Human Resource and Admin Officer.
Human Resource and Admin Officer
The HR and Admin Officer will be reporting to the Operations Manager.
Job Purpose
Responsible for providing human resource and administrative support to the SACCO management and staff and ensure day to day administration activities of the SACCO are well coordinated.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide support in recruitment from advertising, shortlisting to selecting suitable candidates.
- Develop job descriptions and ensure that they are up to date.
- Developing clear HR policies, ensuring awareness and they are consistently applied.
- Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
- Assist in on boarding new staff to assist them to adapt to the SACCO culture and working environment.
- Support the coordination of training for all staff.
- Provide administrative support to meet the needs of staff by preparing relevant correspondence.
- Ensure staff documents are stored in their personnel files, the information is updated in the system, and confidentiality is maintained.
- Ensure staff are on track with performance management including goal and other performance management processes through sending reminders and follow up emails.
- Prepare monthly reports on human resource (HR) functions including leave, performance management and staff statistics.
- Organize and coordinate wellness sessions for staff every quarter.
- Ensure requisition requests for procurement of items needed for the SACCO operations are initiated.
- Ensure staff, at the headquarters and in the regions, are provided with proper working tools and resources.
- Work and coordinate the logistics of the SACCO staff and ensure all vehicles are insured, have the statutory documents, and are serviced in a timely manner.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Public Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.
- Good communication skills, planning and coordination skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skill
- Must be above the age of 35 years.
