1. IDENTIFICATION
JOB TITLE : Sales & Marketing Executive
FUNCTION : Sales & Marketing
REPORTING TO : Partners

3. PURPOSE OF JOB
Marketing and Selling products and services at Cooltech Air Conditioning and Engineering Services
4. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN DUTIES)
(a) SALES AND MARKETING
(i) Making daily customer visits to sell and market products and services.
(j) Preparing quotations for customers and ensuring that the quoted prices are at profit margins acceptable and approved by management.
(k) Planning to be out of the office by 8.30am and spend the whole day visiting customers, unless there are some pressing issues like collecting supplies for the customers or preparing reports
(l) Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports and ensuring that they are submitted to management in time.
(m) Keeping and always in possession of an updated price list and stock list
(b) OTHERS SPECIALITIES
(i) Attend to the needs of walk in customers, and ensuring that all customers are given the priority they deserve.
(j) Ensuring thorough knowledge of costing and pricing for all the products that are kept in stores.
(k) Ensuring thorough knowledge of products and services, their prices, uses and their availability.
(l) Ensuring thorough customer knowledge and good customer relationship.
(m) Ensuring thorough knowledge of preparing quotations for customers.
(n) Following up on the quotations that were given to customers.
(o) Ensuring invoices for all finished jobs/ supplies are prepared and that all the invoices that have been prepared are delivered.
(p) Following up and ensuring that orders that have not been worked on are fulfilled.
(q) Ensuring proper filing of all orders and quotations with all relevant correspondence and documentation
(r) Preparing tenders for prospective customers.
(s) Expected to assist in debt collection and stock taking.
(t) Attending to any other duties as may be assigned by management.
(u) Ensuring delivery of goods and services only when there is upfront payment or a vetted LPO, unless approved by the Partners.
5. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE JOB
(a) Minimum of a Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Administration, Engineering or equivalent. Certificate in marketing will be added advantage.
(b) Competence in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and power point.
(c) Strong communication and reporting skills.
(d) Must have good interpersonal skills.
(e) Valid Motor Cycle or Driving License will be added advantage
6. AGE PROFILE
Age in the range between 25 and 40 years of age.
