Nkhoma Synod Radio is a Christian radio station under CCAP Nkhoma Synod whose mission is to advance the kingdom of God and provide transformational social information using qualified professionals and reputable Christians who are innovative and creative.
The Radio has released the following vacant posts to be filled by qualified personnel as follows:
MARKETING OFFICER (Full time)
Based in Lilongwe and reporting to the Station Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- Commissioning research and interpreting data about radio station’s markets and audiences and maintaining contact databases for the station’s clients.
- Managing marketing budgets and calculate the return of investment of the radio station
- Exploring and identifying new markets and customers for the radio station
- Developing the station’s relationship with audiences and clients, and ensuring consistent communication in all marketing output.
- Managing and monitoring the radio’ station’s stop sets
- Designing and implementing innovative promotional campaigns and events that engage audiences and meet clients’ needs.
- Prepare and execute a marketing strategy for the radio
- Proposal writing skills
- Any other duties assigned
Qualification and Experience
- Degree in Marketing/business administration or any related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience as a marketing officer.
- Solid knowledge of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software’s (e.g. CRM)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
