NICO General, a leading general insurance company in Malawi, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to work as Roving Insurance Sales Agents for Chitipa and Karonga Districts.

The Job Summary for the Roving Agents is to identify new customers and maintain existing customers by selling all NICO General Insurance Motor and Non-Motor insurance products and services.

The Key Responsibilities will be as follows:

1. 1. Prospecting and Identifying potential customers
   2. Selling motor and non-motor insurance covers to potential clients.
   3. Advising customers on insurance matter and providing guidance on how to minimize risk.
   4. Sensitizing customers about different insurance covers
   5. Helping individuals and businesses customers to identify and select the most appropriate policies that best suit their needs.
   6. Search for leads and meet new and existing customers.
   7. Build long-term professional relationship with existing clients.
   8. Provide competitive quotations to customers for motor and non-motor insurance.
   9. Utilize technology to source out new clients.
   10. Answer insurance-related questions of both existing and prospective clients.
   11. Help clients successfully claim where a legit claim exists.
   12. Guide and Assist customers to complete various insurance forms.
   13. Arranging new business and facilitating customer renewals.

Qualification and Experience

1. 1. MSCE;
   2. Certificate in Sales or Marketing will be an added advantage.
