1. Avifauna Specialist

Salary : 1500 USD
Location :Malawi and Mozambique
Contract Duration:1 Year

Requirements

Ornithologist: A biologist (MSc or PhD) who is a recognised expert on the management of bird and bat mortality caused by electrocution and collision with transmission lines in southern African conditions.

*University degree in Biology or Ornithology

*The Avifauna Specialist must have relevant work experience, with at least three international projects, including the assessment of impact and mitigation measures for bird electrocution and bird and bat colli-sions with conductors and earth wires.

2.Botanist Specialist

Salary : 1500 USD
Location :Malawi and Mozambique
Contract Duration:1 Year

Requirements
An experienced biologist (MSc) with
( i) experience of Mozambique flora and knowledge of threatened plant species in Mozambique
ii) experience of similar large construction projects. University degree in Biology or Forestry

The Botanist must have relevant work experience, with large-scale civil construction contracts, at least three international projects, including implementation of environmental management plans of linear infrastructure projects.
