Zamara Pensions Administrators Limited domiciled in Malawi is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Receptionist tenable at its Lilongwe office.
Role: Receptionist
Role based in Lilongwe, Malawi
Role reporting to Branch Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible for administrative support across the business in terms of handling the flow of people and ensuring that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and in a timely manner to promote organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome, direct and ensure clients are attended to in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing for any client meetings and ensure the boardroom is clean and neatly arranged at all times.
- Responding, screening and forwarding any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
- Responsible for receiving and documenting all in-coming mail, stamping and placing in respective staff in-trays
- Assist in the coordination of travel and hotel bookings for staff on duty
- Responsible for the general house-keeping of the reception area
- Maintaining a daily log of all calls and client interactions
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying etc
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES
The following qualification is preferred
- Must have a minimum of 1 (One) year work experience and a diploma in the following fields; Secretarial Studies, Administrative Studies, Front Office Operations.
- Telephone Etiquette
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Problem solving skills
- Interpersonal skills

- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Well-groomed and presentable
