UMODZI Savings and Credit Cooperation Limited  is a member owned financial cooperative serving all civil servants and Non-Governmental Organizations in Malawi. The SACCO is an affiliate of Malawi Union of Savings and Credit Cooperative (MUSCCO), and is also fully licensed by Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM). Therefore, Umodzi SACCO is looking for energetic, self-motivated and enthusiastic person for the Marketing Officer position.

Post: Marketing Officer (1 position)

Contract Duration: Two years (Renewable)

Location: Lilongwe

Key Duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Ensure member satisfaction for high member retention
• Drive Umodzi SACCO membership growth and marketing strategies
• Plan, develop, implement and deliver campaigns as agreed within time scales
• Civic educate existing and potential members on SACCO products and services
• Supervising and keeping marketing agents accountable
• Create and develop new innovative ways to communicate with our SACCO members
• Develop and implement an internal marketing program
• And any other duties assigned to

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in marketing or Business Administration
• Minimum of two years experience in a similar position (working with a microfinance will be an added advantage)
• Has design skills including graphics, web design will be an added advantage
• Good communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of SACCO business
• Valid drivers license
