Post : ICT Technician (Grade K)
Reporting to : The College Registrar
Key Responsibilities

- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
- Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
- Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and trouble shooting
- IT support to staff as well as students and maintenance of ICT equipment and support systems

Qualification and Experience

- A minimum of an Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or its equivalent from a recognized academic institution plus at least 3 years’ experience in a busy ICT environment
- Those with professional certificates in networking Comp TIA+, Microsoft products or Server Administration will have an added advantage, Comprehensive experience in baremetal Network installation is a plus.
