Holy Family College of Nursing and Midwifery (Holy Family College), is one of the Mission Colleges under the umbrella of Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM), and is owned by the Archdiocese of Blantyre. Holy Family College is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacancy tenable at the College in Phalombe district:

Post : Grants/Marketing Officer (Grade K)
Reporting to : The College Registrar

The role will involve working collaboratively with Administration, Finance, Academic, Monitoring and Evaluation teams across the College.

The position has the following key performance areas:

    1. Mapping opportunities for strategic partnerships.
    2. Coordinating engagement with potential funders and partners, coordinating and contributing to proposal development.
    3. Contributing to continuous improvement of the department’s strategies, processes and procedures supporting monitoring, evaluation and reporting and contributing to institutional brand building activities.
    4. Managing and developing marketing campaigns
    5. Conduct research and analysing data to identify and define audiences
    6. Conducting promotional activities.
    7. Overseeing campaigns on social media.

Required Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

    1. Strong interpersonal skills.
    2. A self-starter and self-motivated individual. c) Results driven
    3. Analytical logical thinker with good problem-solving skills.
    4. Ability to work on a wide range of deliverables at the same time.
    5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    6. Ability to plan and organise in line with job requirements.
    7. Excellent negotiation and communication skills
    8. Knowledge of market research techniques, social media and web analytics

Qualifications and Experience

    1. A Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing or other relevant disciplines with over three (3) years of demonstrable experience in a similar position.
    2. Those with a Degree in their relevant field of study will have an added advantage.
