Position: Radiography Technician

Qualification:

Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Radiography obtained from an accredited University/Institution; and be registered with Medical Council of Malawi.

Duties

• Performing ultrasound scans, Cardiac Echo scans, doppler DVT.
• Entry of patient registration data and results in computer system.
• Filling of radiographs, statistical and indexing work.
• Ensuring cleanliness of work environment and oneself.
• Assist specialists in radiological special procedures
• Ensuring availability and proper use of supplies
• Protecting oneself, patient, guardians, colleagues from unnecessary radiation
• Ensuring safety and privacy of patient and results at all times
• Take care of the machines by daily cleaning, regular checks and scheduling maintenances
• Participate in quality control programs and CPD meetings.
• Any other duties that may be deem reasonable for the post
