The Kamuzu University of Health Sciences has a vacancy for the position of Finance Manager at its Sports Complex which is a Strategic Business Unit (BU). The position is available in Blantyre on a two-year contract basis which is renewable based on satisfactory performance.
Job Summary:
To provide leadership in financial and operational matters at the Sports Complex
Reporting to: The General Manager of the Sports Complex
Key Roles:
Develop and Implement a sound financial strategy of the Sports Complex to ensure the institution is liquid at all times and meet its financial obligations.
Qualifications and Experience
- The applicant must be a holder of a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Finance Economics or Business Administration and must be a qualified Accountant with CIMA, ACCA or its equivalent
- Must be a member of the Malawi Accountants Board and CAM in good standing
- A minimum of two years post qualification relevant experience in financial management is necessary
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
- Ability to make sound financial decisions
- Knowledge and experience using Computer Applications such as Accounting Packages, Microsoft Office
- Team player and Interpersonal Skills
