Role purpose

// Co-ordinate production inventory ensuring accountability for all stocks within production systems.

// Support production team with SAP stock movements ensuring accuracy, traceability and accountability is maintained at all times.

// Act as a SPC (Single Point of Contact) for all inventory movements within production teams.

Key responsibilities and tasks

// Lead Co-ordinate Raw stock movements from Field to Raw Stock Warehouse.

// Maintain full visibility of all stock movements in raw or semi-finished stage in SAP

// Ensure all postings related to Raw stock are accurate, complete and reliable.

// Supervise the Raw stock warehouse in alignment with all seed care procedures

// Ensures fumigation programs and standards are followed

// Ensure Raw stock stewardship is maintained at all times and no exceptions are accommodated with regards to stewardship

// Co-ordinate uplifting of stocks from growers to the processing site or direct export to destination.

// Co-ordinate all stock transfers to plant for processing and related transfers to Finished Goods warehouse within set transfer windows.

// Implement, coordinate and functionalize QMS (Quality Management Systems) (ISO9001) systems in the raw stock warehouse operations by adhering to SOPs to meet quality specifications

// Maintain and monitor seed quality in accordance with seed physical quality standards and requirements

// Co-ordinate stock counts for all inventory within production team accountability.

// Monitors all efficiency related seed loss including Culls, D&O and SNP grain.

// Co-ordinates all disposals of seed loss material in line with disposal procedures and accountability.

// Ensure adherence to HSE standards within the warehouse area.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

// Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain   management or related fields.

// At least 4 years’ experience in warehousing operations, 1 of which must be at a supervisory level.

// Skilled at leading, managing conflict and negotiating with cross-functional teams

// Demonstration of courage, candor and initiative skills

// Coaching / mentoring group facilitation skills

// Strong communication skills (written and oral – open, honest and persistent)

// Deliver results in a changing environment

// Problem solving skills
