Stores Supervisor
Job description:
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Supervise stores team
- Manage layout
- Manage stock –Balance, critical levels
- Maintenance and upkeep
- Labelling
- Entering data from delivery notes
- Compares actual against budget
- Alerting discrepancies (over expenditure)
- Filing of delivery notes
- Ensuring all job cards are accurately completed
- Ensuring completed jobs are invoiced
- Confirms goods received equals invoices
- GRN’s
- Recording of stock movement
- Entering shop GRN’, into Pos
- Controlling stock levels
- Preparation of monthly stock summaries (stores)
- Quotations from suppliers
- Raising orders (LPO)
- Stock documentation (compost, topsoil, quarry stone
Qualification
- Minimum of a diploma in Purchasing and supply or any other field related.
Skills
- Proven experience working in the stores is required
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and managerial attributes.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Computer literate.
