Peace Corps, a development agency of the United States Government, has an immediate opening for a HIV Coordinator. The HIV Coordinator oversees the development and execution of Peace Corps PEPFAR (President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief) funded HIV activities/interventions, and provides training resources and program support to Peace Corps staff and Volunteers to mitigate HIV and AIDS in rural and underserved communities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A Master’s Degree in Public Health or relevant field
- At least five years of work expedience related to prevention and care of people living with HIV/AIDS
- At least 3 years of work expedience related to sexual reproductive health among youth and adolescents
- Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation
- Excellent computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), including demonstrated ability to prepare reports and develop training materials
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- At least three years’ experience working in a multi- cultural setting and strong cross-cultural/interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
