Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the above post, which has arisen in the Brands Africa Malawi Finance Department. The incumbent will be based in Blantyre, Southern Region, Malawi.

The Job

Reporting to the Accountant, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

? Determining, vetting and acceptance procedures for new customers to ensure the reduction of credit risk.

? Reconciling, checking and circulating customer statements and maintaining accurate records of customers.

? Ensuring that the Proof of Delivery system is operating as per procedure.

? Preparing credit performance reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

? Monitoring the customer portfolio and collecting debts.

Qualifications

The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:

? A Diploma in Accounting.

? A Degree or Diploma in Credit Management is an added advantage.

? Honesty

? Self-motivated and must be able to work under minimum supervision
