JOB OPPORTUNITY – SAVENDA INTERNATIONAL
POSITION: OFFICE VAN DRIVER / DELIVERY DRIVER
Savenda International is seeking a dependable, responsible, andhardworking Office Van Driver / Delivery Driver to join our team and ensure the safe and timely delivery of company goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the company van safely and responsibly for deliveries and official business.
- Deliver goods, documents, and other items to customers, offices, and designated locations.
- Load and unload goods carefully and ensure items are delivered in good condition.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain signatures or confirmations where required.
- Plan efficient delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct routine checks of the vehicle and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Keep the company van clean and well maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel, and vehicle use.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.
- Assist with other office or operational duties when required.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle.
- A Defensive Driving Licence will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in deliveries or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Clean and responsible driving record.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Delivery/logistics/ international travel experience is an added advantage.
