Introduction
The Civil Society Network on Climate Change (CISONECC) is an umbrella body of Civil Society Organizations working in Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management in Malawi. The Network’s mission is to provide a platform for engagement between government and CSOs on climate change and related fields for improved adaptation and mitigation to climate change impacts, with an overall objective of building community resilience to the impacts of climate change. CISONECC comprises of national and international NGOs, other networks, alliances and research institutions, with a secretariat based in Lilongwe.
The network is seeking three interns one for each department (Finance or Administration, Environment and natural resources management, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Digital Media – graphic design, video production and audio production) as part of internship program for 2023.
The Program offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of the Network and contribute towards achieving it’s objectives.
Eligibility
The Internship Programme is open to unemployed young people aged 35 and below, with Degree/Diploma qualifications from accredited Universities.
Internship Duration
All successful applicants will be engaged into the Internship Programme for a period of 6 months from 1st March to 30th August, 2023.
