BRANCH MANAGER
Location: Lilongwe, Malawi
Workforce Recruitment Services (WRS), on behalf of its client, is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced and results-oriented professionals for the position of BRANCH MANAGER , to be based in Lilongwe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Branch Operations Management
- Sales and Business Development
- Customer Service and Relationship Management
- Financial Management
- Inventory and Asset Management
- Staff Management and Leadership
- Compliance, Risk Management and Safety
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Automotive Management, Marketing or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of working experience in the automotive industry.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a management or supervisory position.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, services and branch operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
- Excellent financial and commercial acumen.
- Proven sales, business development and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently deliver results against set targets.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
- Experience managing an automotive dealership, spare parts business, tyre business, and service center or retail branch.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and inventory management systems.
- A proven track record of achieving sales, revenue and profitability targets.
