CFAO Motors, the importers and distributors for Ford, VW, Suzuki, vehicles, and Cummins Engines, is urgently inviting suitably qualified and reasonably experienced candidates to fill the post of Parts Team Leader tenable in Lilongwe.

Job Profile:

Reporting to the National Parts Manager the Parts Team Leader shall manage, promote and coordinate the operations of the department in a manner that will optimize the Company’s market share and profitability by CFAO Malawi’s objectives and laid down procedures.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintains agreed profit margins and return on investment.
• Maintains the required levels of stock at all times per stocking policy.
• Maintains an acceptable market share and ensures the highest degree of customer satisfaction at all times
• Sells the maximum number of parts to trade and retail customers.
• Addresses, resolves & follow up on all customer complaints in the shortest possible period
• Develops, maintains, and updates an up-to-date market intelligence database.
• Directs and supervises Parts staff and ensures that the department meets monthly targets.
• Ensures compliance with all parts policies and procedures by all staff
• Conducts Performance Appraisals for parts staff and ensures that they are adequately trained to perform all tasks
• Ensures compliance with all parts policies and procedures by all staff

• Promotes CFAO Malawi values and culture in the department

Personal Attributes

• We are looking for a reliable dynamic self- starter individual with excellent communication skills, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the motor industry.
• Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Purchasing & Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• At least Five (5) years experience in Parts management
• Knowledge of Computerized Inventory Management System is an added advantage
• Valid Driver’s License
