Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following vacant positions tenable at Exploits University:
LIBRARY ASSISTANT- Lilongwe Campus
DUTIES:
1) Issuing and discharging books and other library materials at circulation desk
2) Shelving library materials and shelf reading
3) Compiling library statistics
4) Registering patrons and collecting fines
5)Cataloguing and classifying library information materials
6)Fixing bar codes and security strips
The ideal applicants must have:
a) MALA Certificate in Library and Information Science
b) A minimum of one year professional experience in an academic library
c) Work experience in using library automated system such as Koha
