FLIGHT DISPATCHER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill in the position of Flight Dispatcher based in Lilongwe. The position holder will be reporting to Head of Operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Maintains continuous flight watch.
  • Production of flight plans.
  • Handling of incoming and outgoing messages and directs then to concerned parties.
  • Preparing of flight folders for the following da/same day operation.
  • Sending or requesting flight movement and delay within 15 minutes of flight schedule departure or arrival.
  • Advise ramp coordinators of any aircraft changes, revised departures, delays and cancellations, fuel data when necessary to pass to all concerned.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the safety and security standards of Malawi Airlines

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• • Must have a Flight Dispatch Certificate from a recognized institution.
  • Diploma level in related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience.
  • High level proven integrity.
