Position : Field Officer 1. (Graduation Program).
Reporting to: District Project Officer.

Summary of key Responsibilities
The field officer he/she will be responsible for a range of duties related to planning and coordination of all OVC and livelihoods integrated activities at the targeted impact area with other staff.

Key Responsibilities shall be but not limited to the following;

Planning and coordination of all OVC, health, nutrition and livelihoods activities in the targeted site.
Support House mentors in collecting data for effective monitoring and planning.
Coordinate cash or asset inputs supplied to beneficiaries in close cooperation with the District Project Officer and other responsible officer
Provide capacity building to house mentors on how to support households on their plans for economic sustainability.
Conducting community planning and review meeting with community structures such as the CBO, ADC, PPC, Coordinators and other community committees.
Facilitate the distribution of project items (Cash/asset transfers) to the target participants
according to the criteria set by the project
Conduct Community mobilization and organize meetings in order to help communities to identify their needs and other targeted vulnerable groups and means of addressing them in the catchment area.
Mainstream issues of Gender, child protection and environment in all graduation activities carried out in the selected sites.
Work with youth as change agents to support service uptake and promote healthy practices.
Produce monthly work schedule for project activities based on the project implementation plan and Lusubilo programs and share the supervisor.

Requirements

Level of Education – Degree, in Community Development or Social work.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems, think and plan strategically, and communicate with key actors in a dynamic and unpredictable operating environment.
Language Requirements: Spoken English-Excellent; and Local languages Lambya/Tumbukuka.
