This role oversees product supply accounting, controlling, reporting and compliance activities with support from regional, global, and site controlling teams. The responsibilities include internal controls and compliance at the production site, safeguarding of assets, accurate cost analysis and reporting for the Product Supply organization, and working as the key finance business partner for the function as well as the Country Leadership Team.
Key responsibilities and tasks
// Monthly closing activities.
// Calculation of cost of goods manufactured and booking of cost adjustments.
// Analysis, tracking, forecasting, and reporting of non standard costs.
// Inventory balance sheet reconciliations (incl work in progress).
// Maintenance of costing information and updates in SAP at all stages of the production process.
// Transfer pricing calculations for intercompany shipments.
// Budget/LRP preparation
// Participation in stock counts.
// Monthly cashflow forecasting and reporting.
// Review and follow up control matrix document.
// Check grower payments against contracts, and ensure appropriate approvals are in place.
// Fixed asset verification and monthly reviews of changes on the fixed asset list.
// Ensure policy compliance on the procure to pay process.
// Review invoices on major expense items.
// Participate in capital review calls and assist with NPV calculation.
// Monthly cost center reviews and reporting.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
// A minimum of an undergraduate degree in business related studies.
// Qualification as a chartered accountant – CA (M), ACCA, CIMA
// At least 8 years experience in finance, 4 of which should have been in cost accounting.
// Experience in SAP accounts payable, materials management, production planning, costing, and general ledger modules.
// A high degree or proficiency in Excel.
// Strong analytical skills.
// Good organization skills.
// Results orientation.
