The Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

The Opportunity

As the Reporting Analyst you will manage and develop the Azure environment, including data ingestion, data transformation and performance management. You will support and further develop the new Data Warehouse and reporting functionality across new and existing systems at Plan International.

You will also support the ETL processes and develop monitoring to ensure that these are completed on time and within parameters.

The Individual

We are looking to recruit an organised individual who has an understanding of D35 to BYOD/Azure. You will also have strong skills in Azure SQL Database design, Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse/Azure Data Warehouse, as well as SSAS/SSIS/SSMS, Power BI and Excel.

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to work across diverse groups in different countries. You will have investigative, analytical and creative thinking skills to handle complex problems and you will be able to propose solutions and rectify issues where possible. You will be solutions-oriented and you will work well individually and as part of a team.
