Responsibilities typically include:
• Ownership of short- to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the department. Establishes operating policies and procedures that affect departments and subordinate sections and work units. Interprets company-wide policies and procedures. • Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis. Decisions have an extended impact on work processes and outcomes. Erroneous decisions result in critical delays and modifications to projects or operations; cause substantial expenditure of additional time, human resources, and funds; and jeopardize future business activity. • Requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership. Interacts frequently with internal and external management and senior level customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and/or contractual clarifications. Leads briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives.
Bachelor’s Degree + Fifteen years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Twelve years of relevant experience, or PhD + Ten years of relevant experience
