We are looking for young, energetic and driven administrators to keep data accurate, stock balanced and the estate running like clockwork. Behind every great harvest is great administrator.
Position Summary
The Estate administrator will be responsible for implementation of digitization of reports, records and stocks on certain estates and will be reporting to the Estate Managers. The candidate will be based on the allocated estate but should be prepared to be relocated to other estates within Gala Agriculture Company Limited as required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Capture it: Record farm data on mobile devices, accurately and on time
- Count it: Reconcile stock movements-every bag, tool and input accounted for
- Run the office: Handle day-to-day administration and keep the estate office organized
- Report it: Prepare weekly and monthly reports for estate management and head office
- Track the people: Support attendance, labour records and payroll inputs
- Coordinate supplies: Follow up deliveries, requisitions and stores
Required Education, Skills and Experience
- Minimum qualification of MSCE.
- IT Skills /Computer Knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Honesty and integrity (non -negotiable)
- Hardworking, flexible, can-do attitude
- Willing to work extended hours, weekends and live in a remote area
- Those with tertiary education will have an added advantage
