Lusubilo with support from CRS, is implementing the Integrated IOVC and Youth programme which has been designed to address the many challenges of extreme poverty by simultaneously boosting livelihoods and income of its beneficiaries.

Vacant positions have arisen in the Programming and Human resource Section whose details are as follows:

Position : Human Resource and Administration Officer (1).
Reporting to : Director

Summary of Responsibilities:
Plan, direct, and coordinate human resource management activities and maintain functions such as employee recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance. The specific tasks of the Human Resource Officer will include:

Coordinate the process of staff recruitment and conduct induction exercise.
Allocate personnel in various roles matching needs and staff skills.
Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job tasks, working conditions, wages, pensions, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
Serve as a link between Management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related disputes.
Maintain personnel records, compile and analyse statistical data concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
Directly supervise junior security guards, office assistants, ground labours and junior staff.
Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs.
Oversee the appraisal processes and ensure that staffs are being appraised every six months and annually.
Facilitating disciplinary hearings and ensure that discipline is always maintained by all staff at all levels.

Qualification
1. A minimum of a BS Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
2. Proven 3 years’ working experience with at least 50 staff members’ workforce organisation.
3. Knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching is a MUST.

Other important Skills
Able to work under less supervision, have good public presentation and communication skills, high sense of maturity and integrity, Sober habits and ability to remain composed at work even when under pressure.
